Miracle Of Hope's Parent's Story

Looking for a Miracle...
I guess I'm writing out of complete desperation that by the grace of God or some higher power someone will be able to help me....or rather help my parents...My mother is very ill...she is pretty much confined to her home...My father, almost 80 years old, is still working to try to maintain some kind of health insurance. Over the years for various reasons, bad decisions, financial inability to properly fix broken or things needing replaced, and everyone is familiar with Murphy's law - "Anything that can go wrong, will and has and all at once." ...Plus they've always been caught in the systems catch 22 where they didn't qualify for programs or benefits to help....Their house is now full of mold. This is partly a result of roof leak several years ago... It's a life threatening situation. The ceilings are falling down, floors are rotting, and basically I'm afraid the electrical is such that may cause a fire.
My mother requires oxygen and inhalers and a few other medications to maintain her life...However, with the mold, her health is going to decline more rapidly. It can even lead to cancer.

Her only dream in life was to have a decent home...My only dream is for her to have a safe home, a safe environment.
I've devoted most of my entire life helping others; the sick and poor and now find myself in a helpless position, unable to do anything.
I am asking with everything I have in me...faith, hope,love, miracle, to help make her dream come true for some quality of life.

It's sad and very hard to see. I have moments where I want to just walk away and do nothing and other moments where I would give up everything I have to help them. There would be something wrong with me as a human being if I didn't try to intercede somehow. So, I made this website...I've called, emailed, and talk to many organizations. Some I've not heard back from....Others said they were not able to help. I even called The Oprah Show. They said they were not able to help either. The woman I spoke with said, "We've never done a show on it before, therefore I can't help you."
I've had moments of feeling desperate and considered calling someone to have the home condemned, but then my parents would be homeless.

Honestly, they are living in dwellings which endanger their health and their safety. It's like they are condemned to death...death from their own home; condemned to a life of meaningless existence...my Mom has become reclusive...the windows never open and she never sits outside in the fresh air. I want to help get her a home where she can open the windows and she's able to sit outside to enjoy the fresh air, the warm sunshine, the green grass; all the things that we often taken for granted. A home that enables her to have a quality life.

The intervention needed is going to have to be something short of a Miracle...
