I've heard a lot about Angel Investors, but I am unable to find any.  As most of our friends know, our family has severe environmental illnesses that were caused from living in a house with toxic mold for almost 5 years. Because of how severe our illnesses became and how many different illnesses we have, we had to leave the Midwest and relocate to a dryer state. We chose Colorado because it's dry, not real hot and humid, (humidity is very hard on our lungs), and it is oh so very beautiful. God spared nothing when he created Colorado!

Now that we are here in Colorado we are looking at property to buy. We are not looking for a huge piece of land, but we are not looking at small pieces either. What we are looking for is a large enough piece of land, (with utilities close by so it does not cost an arm and leg to get them to the property), that we can place a number of trailers, or cabins on and have enough land for each trailer to sit on and be able to have a garden and a few animals to raise for eggs, milk, meet, etc. This would provide a home for at least a few of the families that are suffering in the Midwest like we were, and get them out of a home that is literally killing them.

Here's our problem... We are not wealthy people, and have barely enough to live on, let alone enough to buy land, trailers, and utility hookups, but there is such a need for a foundation such as this and we feel led by God to do all that is in our power to start up a program such as what I have described above and help as many others with the illnesses and allergies that we all have, to have a home they can live in, in a state they can live in, without being sick all the time and virtually at deaths door.

We need Angel Investors, and, or grants to help us get this Ministry off the ground. Even if it is only $20,000.00, that could buy a few acres of land and at least build two decent sized log cabins and utility set up. With each additional $20,000.00 we could buy more land, and build more cabins, and save the lives of more people. No this is not a money making venture, this is a "God's Love for People" venture. We are not doing this to make a dime, we are doing this to save the lives of those which very few people want to hear, because no one wants to hear that a house, or a building is making people so sick, that they have to walk away from their homes, and every single thing they own, right down to furniture, clothes, and family heirlooms. Sick Building Syndrome, is a very serious problem that is becoming more and more known every day, but so few are getting help in any way. So we have started The Joy Of H.O.P.E., (H-elping O-ther P-eople E-verywhere), a non profit foundation / Ministry to help those who are suffering from sick building syndrome, to get a fresh start on a new life, and start to heal from the illnesses they have gotten from the sick building they live, and or worked in that made them so sick. God has placed this journey and Ministry on us, we believe because He knows we are strong individuals who believe that helping others is a very important part of being a Christian and that we do not take no for an answer, easily.

We attended a Church some time back, and the Minister gave a wonderful sermon that Dan and I both feel was meant for us. It was on having the faith of a child when it comes to Jesus and believing in Him, and putting full trust in Him and what He wants of us. We proved when we left Indiana with only what would fit in our van, that we had great faith in God and Jesus Christ, unfortunately, at the time we heard that sermon, we had begun to doubt. Not any more, we place all faith in God, for in Him, all things are possible!
