Air Quality and Health

Air quality is something that we all really don't even think about, and this is not good because there are a lot of people who are affected in a negative way and become very ill just from the air they breath each day.

What is in the air we breath? Have you ever thought about that? My family and I live in the midwest, and that is a question that I ask every single day. What exactly IS in the air we breath?

I guess the answer to that question all depends on where in the Country you live for starters. Here in the midwest, there is a lot of mold. The thing that so few of us know, is that molds can be very dangerous. But there are dangers everywhere and if we ignore them, trust me they will NOT go away!

We lived in a house for 5 years that had lots of toxic mold growing in the walls and under the floor. It made us very sick and now we are very sensitive to molds, and all sorts of other allergens. Our new house has lots of leaks in the duct work that blows insulation and dust throughout the house and into the air making it hard for us to breath, and causing other problems. We rent and the owner has refused to fix the problem and has told us we have to move because we won't stop asking him to fix the problem. There is no codes for air quality here, so there is nothing we can do but move.

We live in the midwest which is full of molds of all sorts, and have been unable to find a home that is mold free. Because of all the allergies, and health problems we now have from the mold, almost every house in this area makes us sick.

We have done a lot of research and found New Mexico, Arizona, and California, to be a good state for folks with allergies like ours, and we are now working on getting relocated to a state not so wet as the midwest. We still need to find the right area for us, as well as work that we are able to do, (the mold left me in bad shape physicly, and my husband is partially disabled from a back injury in 2000), but we have many talents and great faith that God will lead us to what, we need.
